WHERE IS HOME was an exhibition of 100 posters shown in hallways across my campus featuring individual students holding hand-written signs naming the town, city or country they call home.

The Black Student Union (BSU) created this JCC community project to promote sharing and inspecting what we each call “home”—something we all care about and relate to regardless of our backgrounds or culture.

As BSU president I led the creative efforts and production on WHERE IS HOME. The exhibition was created to celebrate and reflect the diversity that exists within the community at JCC. Hopefully, sparking conversation, and encouraging students to consider the bridges cultural gaps that  exist between us.

The success of this project outgrew the campus where is started and garnered media coverage and in the local paper.
